Suprak might've been right about the Pats being the only AFC team. This team was a play away from going 3-3 into overtime at home against the Bills because almost every pass wasn't close to a receiver

Steelers lost to the Bears this year, something the Patriots never wouldve even come close to doing.

21-3 or something like that Pats next week. But it wont even feel that close. No way Pats lose to a QB this bad and their coaching is good enough to smoother a run game if thats all they need to focus on.

I would have the Steelers up there with the Patriots too in terms of teams Id be ok being in the Super Bowl, but I seriously doubt Antonio Brown is 100% and without him they are significantly more pedestrian.

But yeah the bottom four in the AFC were all trash. Jacksonville should be really good for a couple years coming up if they can find a decent QB coming up though.

Also I haven't seen him accused of kidnapping anywhere, unless I missed part of the story. Another tidbit is it wasn't the woman herself who came forward, but the ex husband who apparently videotaped her allegations without her consent.

The details were provided to News 4 by the womans ex-husband, claiming the sexual relationship happened between his now ex-wife and Greitens in March 2015. News 4 is not naming the woman and she has not made an on-the-record comment about the story.

According to the ex-husband, the recording was made just days after Greitens and the womans first sexual encounter. And also that Greitens took a photograph during the encounter to use as blackmail according to the ex-husband.

Apparently the Missouri GOP also kind of hate him because he basically ran on a platform that they were all corrupt idiots, which was making his platform difficult to get support for some reason even before this all broke. So there is a non-zero chance this guy doesn't make it through his term. He was supposed to be one of the "big" GOP up and comers too. Rhodes scholar, navy seal, Purple Heart recipient. He was also a democrat until 2015 for reasons I'm not entirely sure of. And, now quite possibly, a monster.

I think part of it is that... What can you really say about certain things? Some stuff is just so blatant from watching that it's like... Yeah, I actually would rather hear who came up with it since I might want to check them out, as opposed to "The Jump Skip here is where he jumps to this ledge."

Yeah, I'd personally like someone like SpikeVegeta or BigJon on the couch than someone who is constantly just commenting on the skips. A lot of the time, unless they're doing a tutorial like they did with Strider yesterday, there are too many skips and they're going too fast to properly explain everything. Like, don't ignore the game entirely obviously, but good banter and/or the history of the game is sometimes more fun to hear.

Like in the Super Mario Sunshine run, maybe they didn't explain every skip but they had other interesting things at time instead. "Oh we used to have to use the clouds before the rocket skip was discovered" is actually more interesting to me than "you press this button like this at this time" for every skip, especially in a game I'm not planning on running. And if I was planning to run, almost all of these people have tutorial vids on youtube/twitch that are far more useful than what you'd get in a run.

I actually like a big cough like the Sunshine run. Just personal preference, of course!

This was the full game though. That one is for where easy mode normally ends which is...like after the fifth level? I forget, but they said it in the marathon.

This is a world record though because the runner found this trick to allow for the full game to be played really recently. And I'm pretty sure she is one of only a couple of people that actually run this game because it is so bad.

Still a fun run though! Bad games work well for speed runs because of how broken they are from the get go.

This whole horror block has been fantastic. RE7 was great, the race was a lot of fun even if they both almost died at the exact same spot, and this Silent Hill run is very solid as well. I missed L4D2 and whatever game was before RE7, so I'll have to go back and check those out.

Metroid Prime 3 was a difficult watch. They had a joke about how the motion controls created "immersion" but they beat all the immersion jokes to death, and then beyond death for good measure.

I dozed off and didn't even see the trick being failed 20+ times.

It reminded me of the mirrors edge run a couple of years ago. The runner and the guy on the couch had a running gag where couch guy would pretend to not know what glitchless was and would complain every time the runner did a minor glitch that was still allowed. It wasnt funny the first time they did it, and he literally did it like thirty times through the course of the run.

This one was worse though because the actual run was kinda bad too.

Strong marathon so far though imo. Theres only been two runs I didnt like that Ive seen so the ratio of good to bad has been very solid.

That's a crazy amount of time in that game.... like a level and a half.

He died during that Tails Car level and since dying means starting all over from the beginning of the stage it really cost him the race.

I didn't even see that part but yeah that would be even more lost time

He was more than halfway done, too, and since there was no checkpoint on a decently long level he basically had to almost do the entire level twice.

He also didn't get great RNG on the Knuckles levels, which compounded things, and the guy he was going against pulled off an insane trick at the end that the other guy didn't even try because it is rather difficult.

So there was the big gap between the two. Still a fun race though!

But my initial stance would 100% be "no I'm voting third party for the first time in my life." It is worth noting I live in Illinois, so my vote doesn't really matter because the democrats will win by 20 points regardless who they put up. It would be more difficult for me to decide if I lived in a state that mattered. At the same time though, I voted democrat literally every election in my life, and this would be the first time I would not support the democratic nominee out of the gate.

Like MI said, if Oprah is interested in politics, run for councilman, or house, or hell, even senator. I'm fine with all that. But if your first job in politics is "president of the most powerful country in the world" your resume better be more impressive than "unleashed Dr. Phil and Dr. Oz on the world".

Yes, but a roaring stock market has innumerable indirect benefits as well. That's why it's a really hard argument to make that a bull market only helps the wealthy.

The republicans entire argument under Obama was it doesnt matter how the stock market is doing, it matters how REAL AMERICANS are doing. Feels vs reals and all of that.

That doesnt make them right btw, I just think its interesting that now the republicans are all going but look at the stock market! when that was never a good enough indicator under Obama. The economy did quite well under Obama and it is continuing to do well in Trumps first year. The test will be if it continues at this rate over the duration of his presidency.

I do agree with Sephs overall point though that a strong stock market is typically linked to a strong national economy as well, although not always.
